“This integration represents a major leap forward for commercial electric vehicle adoption,” said CEO of PhoenixEV, Denton Peng.
“By leveraging wireless charging, we are making zero-emission transportation even more accessible and efficient, helping fleet operators reduce costs while contributing to a greener future.”
Utilizing InductEV’s advanced wireless charging system, electric shuttle buses can recharge during brief stops at depots, passenger pick-up points, or designated charging locations. This minimizes downtime and increases service hours without the need for manual connections.
Wireless charging technology provides increased uptime through frequent automated recharging, minimizes infrastructure requirements by removing the need for large plug-in stations, and decreases maintenance expenses by preventing cable deterioration and exposure to the elements.
Moreover, it improves safety by eliminating the hazards associated with handling high-voltage cables.
Price Action: PEV shares traded lower by 4.80% at $0.3475 in premarket at last check Wednesday.
